Parents’ Association Welcome

The Coláiste na Mí Parents’ Association would like to encourage all parents and guardians of the students of the school to engage with us to enhance the experience of your children throughout their time in the school.

By taking part, you can:

  • Help to support initiatives to enhance the quality of the school experience, through fundraising and supporting school events.
  • Take part in discussions / information evenings / consultation efforts on matters pertinent to students and parents.
  • Get to know other parents and share knowledge and experiences that can be mutually beneficial.
  • The committee of the Parents’ Association is elected at the AGM, which is normally held in September or October, at the start of the school year. Each member serves a two-year term, so each year, half of the positions on the committee will be up for election. Efforts are made to ensure that we have a member that has a child in each year of the school.

The current committee of the Parents’ Association is planning to organise an AGM in September 2021. A date will be communicated once finalised.

Due to the circumstances of the past year, the Parents’ Association did not have an AGM in the year 2020/2021, so the members elected in the previous year (listed below) remained in position in a caretaker capacity.
