Meath County Enterprise Awards

Double Success for Coláiste na Mí Students in the Meath County Enterprise Awards

Transition Year students Kevinas, Kate and Alex received two awards at the recent Meath County Enterprise Awards for their new business Jotterbands.  The judges highly commended their business and their efforts and awarded them two awards.  They received the awards for “Best use of Social Media” and the “Intellectual Property award”.  The product developed on a 3D printer eliminates the need to write reminders on your hand through a special wrist band with built in section for sticky note.  A huge congratulations to them and all the very best for the future of Jotterbands.

Coláiste na Mí was well represented at the Meath County Enterprise Awards with another highly sought after business “One Touch Solutions” by Conor and Diarmuid.  Again their product was developed by 3D printing specially designed IPad stands and a product called Safe wire – designed to prevent phone charger wires breaking.

Both companies “One Touch Solutions” and “Jotterbands” represented the school very well and impressed all of the judges on the day, Well Done.
